I am not there yet; it is also a thought. Your mind is convincing you of something. Probably you are trying to impose someone’s description of Enlightenment on yourself.

You are already there. You are already that. There is no need to seek it. You are it! The seeker is the mind. It is your denial not letting you see it. Drop your "so-called existential" questions; a quarter of the seeking would fall. Drop your images of future goals; a quarter of seeking would fall. Your plans for the future are ruining your presence. Drop your past pleasures; a quarter of seeking would fall. Drop all your comparison-making thoughts; the last quarter of seeking would fall. Drop your "I-thought": the whole of the seeking will shatter on the ground all at once. How to drop it? The question is the mind. Witness it! Don’t get me wrong, you can have future goals, and you can work towards them, but subtract the "I" from it. Presence is so innocent, and it does not judge you. It gives you breath to accomplish whatever your pseudo-self wants, even if it may come at the cost of the destruction of the planet. It gives you the breath to accomplish whatever your pseudo-self wants, even if it comes at the cost of destroying the planet. Yes, this attitude toward living skews the balance of life for others. No animal lives like this. Animals are innocent, humans are not. Animals live at the edge, and they lives are always on the line either fight for food or survive in the harsh environments. They do not have the luxury to roam around with toothbrush in their fancy bags while travelling. But we are not grateful for our lives. We want more and more. A human can kill other humans for an idea.

Humans operate from a sense of lack. To achieve something in the outer world already implies that something is lacking in this moment. Wanting a nest, a bowl of fruit, or a bunch of clothes is not wrong. In todays' world, perhaps, having a decent bank balance for security of the future, having a decent car, a medical insurance, and term plan, some investments are acceptable to me. The problem arises when you do not know when to stop. We never ask such questions ourselves. Such questions paralyze our fake identities. We are trained to move forward until death hits us and take it away. The problem arises when we do not recognize the fleeting nature of things. The problem comes when we do not understand these things cannot save you from death. Problem comes when we fail to realize that your thinking cannot save you from falling when you are in plane crash. These things can provide some cushion, but they cannot save you from the hitting the ground. Life is a free-fall.

Look at the lives of rappers or some actors. They have accumulated thousands of pairs of shoes at home. They call it a collection. I am sure they must have convinced themselves for involving in such frivolous activities. They have been brainwashed by companies, or they might be acting out of comparison with their folks. But such comparisons are gibberish to me. I am not arguing that they have taken the share of another person. I am emphasizing that the creation of those shoes and cloths comes at the destruction of other species’ lives and the planet’s resources.

What is this absurdity? Doesn’t it sound like a sickness to you? It is very clever how these companies’ fool rappers and actors into buying and advertising their products. These artists are not more than a few pawns for these companies. We are living in a society full of shitty things. Are you in a race for accumulation? Are you doing it for your kids? Pass them worth. Not worthless that they can squander. Pass them roots, not ready-made fruits. Do you have it in the first place?

If any of this makes sense and appeals to me, congratulations you have some critical thinking skills. If you come and live with a master with sincerity in your heart, you can be free from self-image in a few days. But do you want it that seriously? Are you prepared to surrender to the master. Don’t get me wrong. There are not two masters. There is only ONE. You are that. You drop your "I-know" attitude. Do you have the courage? Do you remember Jesus's words: The price of Truth is everything!
