I think UG Krishnamurti can be of great help if you are on the path of Spiritual Enlightenment. He will force you to rethink for yourself and by yourself. Before I describe how UGK can help you on the journey, let me mention the caveat of listening to UGK: he can potentially push you off the track prematurely. Listening to UGK, he will cut you off from the Nature. In other words, it is your own intellect which will cut you off from the Universe. Never assume that there is no such thing as enlightenment before investigation. Otherwise, it will be a new belief. 

1. There are a few things that you can learn from UGK. Buddha introduced meditations, but he never practiced those by himself. Question the authority: why follow blindly and accept their methods? Meditations, chanting mantra, and reciting names are for low IQ people. Does it hurt if I call someone low IQ? Investigate who is hurt? 

2. Meditations are not going to help you. Because how can the mind use meditations as weapons to destroy itself? These methods cannot free you from the mind, but these methods can make your mind addicted to conducting these meditations on a daily basis to calm yourself. But it is the same attitude as that of a chain smoker. 

3. You are already there, and there is no need to seek it. Fake Gurus are going to take you on a big-long ride. 

4. Going to Gurus implies: you are assuming that you are not there; there is something missing in your life; there is something to be resolved; you are not free. Investigate who is saying that he is not free? Investigate what is blocking the presence? What are those thoughts? 

5. Your seeking is pushing you away from "What is." 

6. What you are looking for is You, but as awareness, not as a person. 

7. He will give you the ability to develop your own critical thinking. There are thousands of fake spiritual teachers on the streets. Simply because the human mind is essentially corrupt. That corruptness is reflected in every field of human existence. How can Spirituality not get corrupted? Preachers can be corrupt too. Isn't it? 

8. You have to use your own mind before you start following any teachers. You cannot skip this responsibility of yours. Otherwise, you are going to take more time to find it out. You will be stuck in circles forever. 

9. Any teacher who cannot talk and discuss about UG Krishnamurti is probably a fake one. What are they defending? 

10. Courage: Jump off the tiger, nothing will happen. 

The most important thing I understood from UGK is “you cannot keep one side of the equation.” You have to drop both happiness and unhappiness. After listening to UGK, I could never listen to any spiritual teacher while keeping my intellect asleep. Remember, intellect should not be confused with oversmartness. If you get caught by a fake teacher, you will either delay the process or probably may not make it or go on a damn long ride. But the same are the chances if you believe UGK blindly.
